Faculty Paper presented by Dr. Kathleen Tacelosky

An interested audience benefited from Dr. Kathleen Tacelosky's overview of her research into language used by and about Mexican immigrants in Lexington, Missouri. She had taken a year-long sabbatical in 2008-2009 and interviewed immigrants in Lexington and in Mexico, comparing these discourses with those found in articles of the Lexington newspaper. She has since presented her work and findings to both academic and civic audiences.
