Spanish Students Present At the Duke Undergraduate Colloquium

Friday, April 25, 2014, two of our Spanish majors presented at the David Nelson Duke Undergraduate Colloquium, chaired by our very own Dr. Jennifer Colón, assistant professor of Spanish. These students chose to present their study abroad experiences through digital story-telling in which they created a movie using stills, video, legends, voice-overs and music. McKenzie Reagan expresses her conscious effort to immerse herself in her study abroad experience in Seville, Spain, as well as in life in "Voy a estar presente."

Erin Christiansen explains how her study abroad experience in Costa Rica changed her perrspective on the concept of time, reflecting on the concept of "pura vida" and the importance of taking time to live life well in "Measure Life through Time."
